A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a knife attack in Bradford this afternoon.
Police are still investigating the incident, which happened in the Tile Street area, off Whetley Lane, Manningham, where two scenes were cordoned off for examination by scenes of crime officers.
The Jamia Masjid mosque and the nearby Fire It Up takeaway were both treated as crime scenes, though a take-away spokesman said the cordon at their premises were removed after photographs had been taken.
It is believed the victim sustained slash injuries and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary. His injuries are thought to be serious but not life threatening.
