Two men have been arrested after a firearm was discharged into the air during a disturbance in Bradford.

Police were called to Dalecroft Rise, Allerton, shortly before 6.30pm last Thursday, to a report of a disturbance involving two groups of men.

Detective Chief Inspector Peter Craig of Bradford District Police, said: "During the disturbance witnesses reported a firearm had allegedly been discharged into the air, with no injuries sustained. Following inquiries, two men were arrested for criminal damage and assault.

"Inquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident, or has information, is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
