Fitness fans at Shipley & Saltaire Wellness Centre will be taking part in an all-day exercise marathon this Saturday to raise money for local cancer hospices.

The Cobrathon challenge is so-called because the participants will be performing their regular CobraFit routines – using heavy snake-like Cobra equipment which gives the name to the Swedish technique pioneered at the Dockfield Road centre.

Proceeds will be split between the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford and the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope.

The challenge will feature eight, 45-minute CobraFit classes starting at 9am, then on the hour until 4pm.

Fundraisers can join as many or as few classes as they can manage.

The centre will be serving fundraisers free teas before the event and refuelling drinks throughout.

To book, call the centre on (01274) 585566 or visit shipleysaltairewellnesscentre.co.uk for details.
