Mums will get fitter to boost charities
8:00am Friday 2nd May 2014 in News
Mother Michelle Hollingworth is organising a fitness session for new mums to raise money for Bradford Hospitals Children’s Charity and the city’s maternity unit.
She plans to host a two-hour ‘exercis-athon’ filled with lunges, squats, jogging on the spot and crunches at Roberts Park, Saltaire on Saturday, July 12.
Mrs Hollingworth, who runs local exercise sessions for mums, says she hopes to fill the park and have stalls and other activities to keep whole families on their toes.
She said she wanted to help the charity because “you never know when your family or someone else’s” will need its help.
Facebook and Justgiving pages are being set up for the event but in the meantime anyone wanting to find out more can e-mail Mrs Hollingworth at michelle@ yummymummysfitness.net.
The registration cost is £7.
