An arts venue will kick off its tenth anniversary celebrations in style during the first weekend of May.

Highlights of Otley Courthouse’s month-long celebration include, on Saturday, May 3, the band who played during the venue’s opening weekend taking the stage again.

Bayou Gumbo have reformed as a one-off especially for the performance, and will perform their distinctive blend of Cajun, African, R&B and Country music from 10pm to 11pm.

They will be preceded, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, by the New Rope String Band.

Other highlights include Tutti Frutti Productions and York Theatre Royal presenting two performances of Monday’s Child on Thursday, May 1.

On Friday, May 2, the Otley Singers and Beccy Owen will take the stage for a double-bill show.
