ROBBERS in balaclavas have left an woman in her sixties in hospital following an incident in Wyke this morning.
Police are investigating following reports of a robbery in Towngate, Wyke, near the Barclays bank at around 10am today, where a large amount of cash was reported to have been taken.
The robbers are believed to have been wearing balaclavas and left the scene in a black car, possibly a Vauxhall Astra, which was driven off towards Bradford.
The victim, a woman in her sixties, was taken to hospital for treatment, but her injuries are thought to be minor.
Police are carrying out enquiries into the incident, which are at an early stage.
