KALA Sangam and Picturehouse at The National Science and Media Museum are uniting to bring a performance by a world class violinist to Bradford.

Dr Lakshminarayana Subramaniam (pictured) trained in medicine with Kala Sangam founder Dr Geeta Upadhyaya, but has never played in the city.

The performance covers over 200 recordings he has produced and performed, and will take place in the museum’s Pictureville Cinema on Saturday at 7pm.

He will be joined by acclaimed Mridangam and Tabla performers Dhulipala Srirama Murthy (Mridangam) and Tanmoy Bose (Tabla)
