TWO members of a pony club have been awarded fundraising badges after holding a charity car-wash.
Throstle Nest Pony Club members Dillan Asquith and Lauren Charlesworth organised the car-wash at the stables in Fagley Lane, Bradford. Between them they soaped and hosed their way to raising over £50 for the Throstle Nest Riding for the Disabled Group which is celebrating its silver anniversary this year having been started in 1992 by Jeannette Wheeler and Brenda Howarth, who also run the riding school on the same site.
In June the riding school, Pony Club centre and Riding for the Disabled Group will be moving to new premises in Wilsden.
