THE death of a 41-year-old man from Keighley struck by a train just outside Crossflatts station yesterday is not being treated as suspicious, say police.
Officers were called to the railway line near Morton Beck Underbridge in Bingley at 3.23pm after reports of a person being hit by a train.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his family have been informed.
The incident led to major rail disruption between Skipton and Bradford until mid-evening.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Officers are currently working to formally identity the man and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
