THE University of Bradford will welcome more than 200 guests when it hosts this year’s Association of University Engineers conference.
The theme for this year’s conference, which is being held at the University from September 3 to 5, is "Building a Self-Sustaining Future: Making a Difference Together."
More than 230 representatives from organisations and companies from across the country will looking at topics like geothermal engineering to behaviour change.
The conference will also includes excursions to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, Bradford Industrial Museum, the National Media Museum, and a Campus Biodiversity and the National Coal Mining Museum.
Russell Smith, University of Bradford estate manager, said: "The AUE membership is UK-wide, spans more than 100 institutions, includes more than 400 individual members and and describes itself as a 'union of like-minded people'.
“Having the opportunity to welcome fellow AUE members, industry experts and leading companies to the University of Bradford is a huge privilege and is testament to our status as a leading technology university.”
This year's conference host is former Tomorrow's World presenter Kate Bellingham.
