BRADFORD trainspotter Mark Neale has been first in the queue to explain just why he loves trains.
Mr Neale (pictured), from Queensbury, was just one of a band of trainspotters who responded to the National Railway Museum’s appeal for people to record their reasons for loving trains in a special photo-booth.
The project is part of I Love Trains Week which runs until Sunday.
Mr Neale's lifelong love of trains started off as a trainspotting schoolboy and now he volunteers to act as a steward on many heritage steam and diesel charters.
He said: "My parents were frustrated when on holiday I showed no interest in the beach and sand, and just watched the trains all week.”
