A BRADFORD couple will stand trial accused of cruelty to their 14 dogs.

Gary and Margaret Mazan, aged 50 and 53, of Swain House Road, Swain House, face seven charges each relating to Red Setters.

The charges include failing to seek treatment for injuries and conditions, and not providing fresh drinking water.

Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court heard yesterday that the dogs were now in the care of the RSPCA.

A three-day trial has been scheduled to start on November 26. The Mazans were remanded on unconditional bail until the trial date.
