COMMUNITY groups in Keighley and being urged to apply for cash from the Craven Trust.

The Keighley-based trust gives grants of between £100 and £1,000 for projects in areas including Keighley, Haworth, Oakworth, Denholme, and Wilsden.

Suggestions include equipment to improve an organisation’s services or administration, training for volunteers and trustees, premises costs or set-up costs.

Grants cannot be given to animal charities or students, for foreign travel, or to national or medical charities.

The next deadlines for applications is September 19 and December 12.
