Police are appealing for information to identify the owners of suspected stolen jewellery as part of an investigation into a series of burglaries.

The items were traced following the arrest of a man in Bradford last week.

The 27-year-old was subsequently charged with burglaries in Leeds, Dewsbury and Huddersfield and is next due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on July 18.

Among the items recovered are four commemorative coins. Two are for the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana in 1981. One has a card with "Grattan" on it, possibly linked to the Bradford company, and the wedding date. The other two are a Sir Winston Churchill coin and the Queen's Silver Jubilee.

Various items of jewellery have also been traced as part of the investigation, including a distinctive 18-carat white gold necklace with a flower pendant.

Anyone who recognises any of the items is asked to contact PC 4684 Sam Warburton at Weetwood Police Station via 101.
