KILDWICK Scarecrow Festival takes place next month.
And two charities, Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, will share in the proceeds.
Organisers of the August 15-17 event are urging people to get involved by making scarecrows for display during the weekend.
Winners will be selected in two categories, public and judges' choice.
There will also be a children's competition to spot mini scarecrows, and a bouncy castle.
Manorlands-based Sue Ryder regional fundraiser, Andrew Wood, said he was delighted the hospice had been chosen as a beneficiary.
“Scarecrow festivals are a great way to bring a village together and we hope Manorlands supporters in the area will really get behind it," he added.
