PEOPLE with Tour de France withdrawal symptoms are invited to a post-Grand Depart celebration in Riddlesden this Saturday.
Riddlesden churches are hosting a community event called Tour de Riddlesden.
A baton relay will start the day at 10am. Volunteers carrying the baton will set off from Bar Lane at 10am and visit all three churches – St Mary's, Ilkley Road Methodist and United Reformed.
A three-kilometre bike ride for all ages will run from 11am to noon, beginning at Bar Lane.
There will then be an eight-kilometre cycle, heading from Bar Lane to Keighley Gate at 12.30pm, then returning via the methodist church or the Willow Tree Pub.
At 2pm a five-kilometre fun run for Christian Aid along the canal towpath will leave United Reformed Church.
Other events at United Reformed include a children's quiz trail from noon to 4pm. Ilkley Road Methodist Church will host a wedding exhibition from 10am to 4pm.
There will be a bicycle-themed cake competition at St Mary's Church Meeting Room, and this venue will also be used for a static one-kilometre cycle challenge.
A pushchair picnic in the park will be held in the recreation ground off Granby Lane from 11.30am to 1.30pm. At the same time, there will be a barbecue outside the Marquis of Granby.
From 10am to midday there is a coffee morning in United Reformed Church and from 11.30am to 1.30pm a buffet lunch in Ilkley Road Methodist Church. St Mary's Church Meeting Room hosts afternoon tea from 2pm to 4pm.
