A CYCLING trainer will mark the Tour de France's Grand Depart by having her head shaved for charity.
Francine Hoddy, 55, of Baildon, will lose her locks on July 4 at Lady Max and The Barbers in Main Street, Bingley, to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
Francine, who runs Bradford-based Safe 2 Cycle, said: " A very dear friend of mine is currently going through treatment and to support her, raise awareness of skin cancer and much needed funds for Cancer Research UK, I decided to grow my hair for six months and then have it all shaved off.
"I am a cycling instructor, so is my friend, we live in Yorkshire and it seemed a good idea to tie the Tour de France and my head shave together for T'Grand Depart."
