POLICE investigating a serious sexual attack on a teenager in Bradford have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace.

Officers believe the incident happened close to the city centre, possibly in the Great Horton Road area, after the 13-year-old victim was separated from her friends.

She was taken down an alley and sexually assaulted.

The incident happened during the evening of February 27 and three men, aged 17, 34 and 36, were arrested but following further inquiries were released without charge.

Detectives have made further inquiries and as a result have issued an image of a man they want to speak to.

Detective Chief Inspector Adrian Taylor said: "It is important we identify and speak to this man, as we believe he may have information which could be vital to our enquiries.

"A young girl has been subjected to a serious sexual assault and it is crucial that we locate the person responsible in order to bring him to justice and give her and her family some closure.

"I am appealing to this man to come forward and tell us what he knows, so he can be eliminated from our enquiries."

Anyone with information on the man in the picture is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
