Yorkshiremen have been urged to fire up the barbecue to raise awareness of male cancers.
As part of men’s health week, held from today until Sunday, male cancer charity Orchid’s annual Big BBQ encourages people across the UK to step up to the grill with friends and family and host a fundraising barbecue in aid of male-specific cancer.
Almost a third of men in Yorkshire and Humber, 32 per cent, admit they find it easier to confide in one another when stood around the barbecue.
