Keighley firefighters rescued a schoolgirl who had trapped her knee in railings at Ingrow Primary School in a breaktime incident.

Firefighters used an electric spreader to bend the railings away from the pupil’s knee.

Watch commander Andy Quinn said the girl had been climbing along the railway railings when she got her knee stuck.

He said: “She was fine. She wasn’t in any pain, and was probably a bit embarrassed.”
