Dietitians at Airedale Hospital are joining a national campaign to explain what they do and how they can help patients and staff.
During national Dietitians’ Week, from June 9 to 13, they will have a display on the landing above the main entrance to the hospital.
The team will be promoting the British Dietetic Association’s series of Food Facts. These include advice about barbecue food, diets to help depression, pregnancy and the menopause, skin complaints and arthritis.
Dietetics service manager at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust Katherine Jones said: “If you want information about food and nutrition, we are a reliable and unbiased source.”
