A regulatory and appeals committee member who turned up to voice his objections to a planning application was told it would be against the rules for him to speak.
A plan by Skipton Properties to build 104 homes on land off Ryedale Way, Allerton, was due to be considered yesterday.
Councillor Malcolm Sykes (Con, Thornton and Allerton) asked the committee to defer a decision so he could ask another councillor to put forward residents’ concerns.
