Pizza was on the menu at a careers convention in a Silsden School.

Pupils at Hothfield School enjoyed the treat at a Sainsbury's Supermarket stand, which was manned by award-winning local baker Mike Armstrong.

Several days after the convention, pupils came to school dressed in clothes representing their future preferred professions.

The convention was organised for Hothfield's Year 6 pupils, and was arranged by Cameron Dale of Bradford’s Education, Enterprise and Employment team in conjunction with the school.

Stands were set up by a number of organisations including the police, park wardens, and Craven College hairdressing.

Also present were representatives from the army, a vets practice, an office administration group and The Health and Safety Executive.

A spokesman for the event said: "Pupils rotated around the different stands, spending 20 minutes with each group, listening to details.”
