A series of events to mark 100 years since the start of the First World War are being held in the Keighley East Ward.

East Morton War Memorial Institute hosts the play ‘The Thankful Village’ on Sunday, May 4, at 7.30pm. For more information, visit badappletheatre.com.

Riddlesden will stage summer events including a touring company play, a talk by historian Ian Dewhirst and an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia of local families.
