The Easter cross on Otley Chevin will be lowered this weekend.
The 36ft high structure, which has been a feature of the local landscape each spring since it was first raised in 1968, is being taken down on Saturday.
Anyone interested in helping to lower it should meet at Surprise View, opposite The Royalty pub, at 9.15am.
