The owners of a city centre pool hall have asked permission for the business to stay open until 3am – five hours later than its existing closing time.
Raqueeb Younas has applied to Bradford Council to alter the conditions of the planning permission granted in 2012 to open a pool hall in a mill building in Vincent Street.
Originally planners had restricted the opening to between 11am to 10pm but Mr Younas has applied to stay open until 3am.
He says with the surrounding area being mostly students, a 10pm closing time is not suitable.
