A new lottery-funded youth club is on the menu for young people in Oakworth.
Village teenagers are heavily involved in running the Youth Cafe at Holden Hall every Friday evening.
The cafe is the brainchild of the Holden Hall Users Group that carried out extensive consultation among local youngsters.
The group successfully applied for a £7,715 grant from the Big Lottery Fund’s Awards For All programme and Bradford Council has agreed to provide a youth worker.
The club will run for at least 50 weeks and is open to anyone aged 11 to 19.
