Otley pupils take a look at life of pilot
Thirty reception class pupils got an insight into life as a pilot on a special tour of one of Jet2.com’s 737 aircraft at Leeds Bradford International Airport. The tour included being shown how the cockpit works and taking part in a safety demonstration.
Sam Bedford, Hangar Manager at Jet2.com, said: “Who knows, we could be speaking with the airline’s future generation of pilots, cabin crew and engineers! They were an absolute joy to have.” The visit involved pupils from Otley All Saints Primary School, who are carrying out a transport project.
