A mature student who left his job in a supermarket to pursuse his dream of a film career is to have his debut film shown on Bradford’s Big Screen.
Michael Cockroft, 33, has won the title of Big Screen Bradford’s Filmmaker of the Month for March. After leaving school at 16 he became a supermarket supervisor but later returned to education to study film.
Now in his final year at Staffordshire University, Mr Cockroft (pictured) has won Big Screen Bradford’s Filmmaker of the Month with Pipe Dream, a film he devised, directed and edited.
