A historic railway carriage is being fully restored more than 45 years after it came to Keighley.
The 128-year-old Midland six-wheeled composite coach is owned by the Vintage Carriages Trust.
The trust has displayed the wooden carriage since 1997 in its museum at Ingrow railway station.
Now the trust’s volunteers are busy repairing and replacing ruined parts to return the carriage to its original state.
The coach is the only Midland Railway carriage on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, which is itself a former Midland Railway branch line.
A spokesman for the trust said that for many years the carriage was exposed to the elements at Oxenhope railway station.
