Patients with brain injuries are to be supported by a donation from building society customers.
Headway Bradford, based in Shipley, received £1,000 from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation to help buy library books about injuries to help patients and their carers when they are discharged from hospital.
The donation was made after a society member nominated the charity to benefit with support of the colleagues at the Shipley YBS branch in Well Croft.
The money will also go towards a trip to the Lake District for some of the charity’s members.
