The World Heritage site of Saltaire is one of the suggested locations for a Mother’s Day stroll.

The Ramblers is encouraging people to treat their mum to a stroll in the great outdoors of Yorkshire.

Simon Barnett, director of walking development at the Ramblers, said: “Walking is a great way to spend some quality time with your loved ones so why not treat your Mum to a countryside walk or a stroll through a city this Mother’s Day?

“We have hundreds of free routes available throughout Great Britain on our Ramblers Routes.”
