Children and parents in Bradford have completed more than 3,200 journeys to school by bike or scooter as part of a national competition.
The Big Pedal, which has been organised by charity Sustrans, is aiming to get more youngsters active on the school run.
Emily Groves, Sustrans Bike It officer for Bradford, has been at a different school each morning offering incentives to those children who have cycled or scooted to school, such as a free breakfast or a raffle ticket for bike accessory prizes.
The results of the competition will be announced next week. The winning schools will have Danny Butler, a world champion trials rider, come to their school and put on a stunt show performance.
