Police investigating the disappearance of a Bradford student who has been missing for more than two weeks have released a CCTV picture of him in Liverpool.

The image shows Aamir Qudeer leaving the city’s Lime Street railway station on February 26, just hours after he was last seen in Leeds boarding a Liverpool-bound train.

The 21-year-old, who is also known as Eric, has not been seen since and his family are extremely concerned for his welfare.

Aamir, who lives in Leeds, is 5ft 5ins tall and was wearing a grey long-sleeved top, dark body warmer, dark trousers and dark shoes when he was last seen.

Detective Inspector Neil Benstead, of Bradford CID, said: “We are concerned about Aamir and are appealing to him or anyone who may have seen him in Merseyside or Yorkshire to please make contact and reassure both us and his family that he is okay.

“His disappearance is out of character and his lack of contact is causing serious concern. I would appeal to Aamir or anyone who sees him to get in contact with police on 101.

“Anyone with information can also ring the National Runaway Helpline on 0800 800 700 or text 80234.”
