Action will be taken to stop stone flags being stolen from an unadopted Keighley street.
A number of flags have been taken from Nashville Terrace, which is off Fell Lane, in recent months.
Police plan to show residents how to security-mark their flags in order to stop more being stolen. The visit will be during a clean-up planned this month by Bradford Council.
A council officer will talk with householders about options for filling the holes left by the missing flags.
Councillor Jan Smithies (Lab, Keighley West) said: “This is an unadopted road and terrace and is the responsibility of residents not the council.
“We will try to help residents collectively find a cost-effective way of dealing with the gaps if they are willing to pool funds, though I realise in these cash-strapped times it may not be everyone’s priority.”
