A scooter has been seized in the Scholemoor area after reports of a man riding it with no lights, helmet, insurance or licence.
Police noticed the man riding dangerously while on a routine patrol. Officers said the scooter was driving up and down a residential road before officers managed to catch up with the driver.
Upon speaking to him police say it became apparent that he had no licence and no insurance. The bike was subsequently seized by officers and the male has been summoned to court on suspicion of three road traffic offences.
