Rush-hour motorists are facing added delays on two major routes into the city this morning.
Drivers are being warned to expect delays of about 20 minutes because of a smash on the M606 motorway and roadworks at the Dudley Hill roundabout in Tong Street.
A black Vauxhall Insignia and a grey VW golf were in collision at about 7.55am today at the motorway’s junction with Rooley Lane, a police spokesman said.
He said no-one had been injured and no lanes were closed as the vehicles were now on the hard shoulder.
But roadworks have closed one lane on the Dudley Hill roundabout where Rooley Lane meets Tong Street.
This is causing delays into Bradford on all approaches.
