Keighley’s international short film festival RATMA is doubling in size.

The festival has attracted twice as many entries as for its inaugural event last year.

Organiser Marcus Gregg said he had been “totally overwhelmed” by the number and standard of entries from across the globe.

The River Aire Ten Minute Amateur festival is organised by students at the Keighley Campus of Leeds City College as an enterprise exercise.

This year’s festival will be held at the Campus and Keighley Picture House on April 26.

Mr Gregg said more than 200 films had been entered for screening at this year’s festival.

He said: “We will be selecting films over the next two weeks and will publish the list on the website.”
