A road was closed tonight as firefighters tackled a blaze at a house in Bradford.
Fire crews from Fairweather Green, Shipley and Bradford stations were called to a property on Bullroyd Avenue, Four Lane Ends, at about 9.10pm.
Police closed Allerton Road between its junctions with Squire Lane and The Oval, at the request of the fire service.
Initially, fire crews believed someone was in the house, but a police spokesman said the owners of the property were away at the time.
