A cabaret gala raising funds for the annual Bradford Pride celebration is being held in City Park.
Forster’s Bistro is hosting the gala, featuring musical and comedy acts, on Friday, March 14, from 7pm.
Organisers hope to bridge the gap between last year’s Pride event and this year’s, while raising funds for the annual celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights.
Richard Scullion, of Bradford Pride Committee, said: “We are excited to be working with Forster’s Bistro for this event and are extremely grateful for their support in another challenging year for raising funds.
“Working in partnership with a local business for this event, especially one with a social purpose like Forster’s, is partly what Pride is all about – uniting with the wider community.
“It promises to be an exciting event, something a bit different from what is normally found at Bradford Pride and, as it is during the evening, will enable people to really let their hair down.
“We have a number of new plans for 2014 to make it the best Pride yet in Bradford and this is one of the first to be announced.”
Tickets cost £10, which include a welcome drink and canapes.
