UPDATE: Bypass reopened as police talk man down from bridge
Stanningley bypass has reopened after police successfully talked down a man on a bridge this afternoon.
The man had been standing on the Dawsons Corner flyover at Bradford Road, Farsley, since about 1pm.
Police had closed the A6120 Farsley ring road both ways as a safety precaution, and traffic was slow on the A647 Stanningley bypass, the B6157 Bradford Road at Dawsons Corner and Priesthorpe Lane.
All roads have now returned to normal.
