A pie created by TV chef James Martin is the most popular at a pub in Wyke.

The chicken, pulled ham and leek pie is on the menu at Wyke Lion, Whitehall Road, and has gone down well with pie-lovers.

The announcement comes ahead of British Pie Week, which runs from March 3 to March 9.

Julie Newby, manager at Wyke Lion, said: “The pie is a true king of a classic British cuisine, and our chefs at Wyke Lion take their pie-making very seriously.”
