The 1st Burley Brownies are celebrating World Thinking Day on Saturday, February 22 by putting a light in their window and they are encouraging others to join them in the old guiding tradition.
Sharon Hattersley, leader of the 1st Burley Brownies said the tradition was being revived as part of the celebrations for the Brownie 100th birthday this year.
She said: “We would like to ask girls and women throughout the Ilkley area who were Rainbows, Brownies or Guides to join us and show that they were a member by putting a light in their window on February 22nd.
