Man in 80s hurt as Porsche crashes in Manningham

An elderly man was injured after the Porsche Carrera he was driving hit a traffic light in Bradford.

The collision happened on Manningham Lane, near its junction with Carlisle Road and Marlborough Road, at about 8.45 tonight.

The injured man was believed to be aged in his 80s. Police closed part of Manningham Lane while they dealt with the incident.

witnessed this accident and the car hitting the traffic lights, so glad i managed to pull this man out of his car and to safety last night. hope his ok, he was taken to bri. If anyone knows him pls let me know if he is ok.

Was it the man in his 80's who was hurt, driving this car?

yes it was he was on his own he told me he had just got back from a tennis club and has just filled up the tank with petrol and was on his way home when he crashed.
