A fundraising group in Thornton, Bradford, has been set up to help raise money and awareness of the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford and the Marie Curie nursing service.
The group’s first meeting will be held at The New Inn on February 11 from 6.30pm.
Community fundraiser Rebecca Ross said she would love to hear from anyone who would like to join the group, or anyone interested in finding out more about what it does.
She said: “Whether you like organising events, counting money, baking cakes or simply want to give an hour or two, there will be something for you. It is a fantastic way to meet new people and do something which makes a real difference.
