Police are carrying out a forensic examination of a stolen car for clues that might lead them to those behind a string of burglaries in Bradford.

A total of 17 officers were sent to the Laisterdyke area to carry out targeted patrols in relation to burglaries in the area.

Officers located a vehicle parked in a “strange manner” off Parsonage Road. Checks showed it had been stolen in a burglary in the Parry Lane area of Bradford when someone broke into the house to steal the car key and drove off in it.

A police spokesman said: “The vehicle has been recovered and will be forensically examined.”
