A 42-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was shot in Bradford last night.
Police are appealing for information after a gun was fired in what detectives believed was a “targeted” attack on Little Horton Lane.
Detective Chf Insp Adrian Taylor, of the Protective Services Department, said: “This incident happened at around 7.48pm.
"A 42-year-old man was left with serious injuries as a result and he remains in a stable condition.
“Our enquiries into the incident remain ongoing but at this stage we believe it was a targeted incident.
“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or any suspicious activity at the time to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
Police remained on the scene as investigations continued today.
