Work by Bradford-born visual artist Steve Gumbley is proving a draw at the city's Industrial Museum.
Titled Shadow Machines and Singing Paintings, the exhibition features video and photos of Steve's own work and collaborations with other artists.
A main aspect of the display is 'From Horsepower to Hydrogen Power', a shadowgraph machine commissioned for a sculpture trail at Bolton Abbey. It is a large revolving table which projects moving shadows of power stations, pylons and galloping horses around the walls of the room.
"It works like a modern prayer wheel, a mechanical meditation on the theme of energy," said a museum spokesman.
Steve is known for his intriguing art installations, museum exhibits, theatre shows and carnival sculptures.
