Police are re-appealing for information on a burglary in Thornton, during which an elderly woman fell and fractured her ribs.
The victim, in her 70s, remained in a stable condition in hospital yesterday.
She fell as she went to investigate after being woken by an intruder in an upstairs bedroom at a house in Back Lane, at about 4.30am on Monday.
The occupants challenged the man, who pushed past them before running down the stairs and out of the property.
The intruder was white and of above average height. He was wearing a black woolly hat and dark clothing. Nothing was stolen in the burglary.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bradford CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
