7:30am Saturday 28th December 2013 in News
Free wellbeing sessions for carers are being held in Keighley next month.
‘Caring Confidently, My Own Health’, on January 23, will explore how to improve your health and prevent illness.
And ‘Caring Confidently, My Own Life & Feelings’, on January 30, will centre on making time for yourself and tackling low mood, anxiety and stress.
Both sessions – being staged by Carers’ Resource – are at the Low Fold Children and Family Centre, Exley Road, and will run 9.15-11.15am.
Free refreshments will be provided.
The charity is also holding a series of ‘Time for Me’ sessions, for carers and over-50s, at Keighley Healthy Living.
The first, on January 7 , will cover positive thinking, relaxation and hand massage; the second – on February 6 – gentle exercises, breathing and relaxation, and the third – on March 6 – energy foods, nutrition and healthy snacks.
Each 10am to noon session costs £2, including refreshments.
